Planned Outage / Hazard

Planned Outage / Hazard -
Melbourne Thursday 2nd August 6:00 - 6:30 am
Australia Wide Saturday 11th August 5:30 - 6:30 am

On the advice of our switch software vendor, there will be a planned outage/hazard as noted above to facilitate upgrade to switch software within the Spectrum L2 Global Network Fabric.

Software will be upgraded one by one in each switch of the global fabric over the hazard window. Customers that are dual connected should not notice significant outage other than reduction of overall bandwidth or some small pauses. Customers that are single connected will notice a short outage of around 5 minutes while the switch that your service is directly connected to reboots.

This hazard will affect all Voice, Internet, Ethernet and MPLS Services.

The Planned software upgrade has been post posted due to an unplanned outage and a reduction in some redundant systems.
